Homework
Homework is assigned almost every night (M-TH) to reinforce the skills and concepts learned during the school day. The Board of Education policy for students in fourth grade states that homework in fourth grade averages about 30 minutes a day. Students are also required to read independently for at least 15 additional minutes (see below).
BOOK BAGS: Students are required to read at least 15 minutes independently as part of their homework. Each student’s independent book will travel to home and school each day in their “Book Bag”. All reading should be recorded on the reading log, which is located in the bag.
